Water Pump Problem

In this lesson, students have to develop a formula to calculate the distance from the center to the vertices of equilateral triangles of both fixed and variable distances around the outside of the triangle. The context of the problem is set in Peru where a community has installed a water pump in the center of several villages and needs to determine the distance from the pump to each community.
